Interdomain Routing Workshop |
The first test that had to be passed to enter the IDRWS was making an appropriate travel arrangement. Depending on the arrival time, using the train was an option:

While even with only a bike one would have had to search a parking place:

A lot of people were trying to get into Amsterdam by boat:

Flying would probably have been the best option (if only everybody would have wings!):

The goal was to see this sign:

Despite the difficulties, there were no losses and everyone found to the RIPE NCC office building:

Oops, wrong one. Our great hosts (who we want to thank very much another time on this occasion) have their really nice office building here:

Where we finally started the 2nd Interdomain Routing Workshop:

And started discussing...

...and continued discussing...
(As one can clearly see, Australians seem to have the best content on their laptops!)

To conclude the first day (and relax from the provoking topics), we were celebrating the IDRWS social with a few other people:

...and some more people...

...and even more attendees...

...still more guests...

Another few people...

...came with even more friends:

Two of the organizers wore special signal-colored T-Shirts during the event, so everyone could always recognize them easily:

But to be really honest, we had concerns that we would have to clean up too much trash...

...and rubbish...

...so we were having the IDRWS social only on invitation...

...in a more "civilized" manner:

On the next day, we continued discussions,...

...developped new visualization aids:

And continued discussions:

Sometimes, things were not undisputable:

One presenter was worrying, if his color scheme was readable good enough...

...what the audience...

...was not really sure about:

After another productive day, the 2nd IDRWS...

...was concluded with a great and thought-provoking panel discussion:

And even after two days of an awful lot of discussions, we were still not as tired as him:

Thanks a lot to every participant!
